EA app kills BF2042 on PC.
Ive been using the origin app on the PC no problems with BF2042. Today hey said i have to now uninstall origin and use the EA app.
The app loads but bf gets to the loading page then quits back out. This happened last year so i uninstalled and put origin back on no issues. But now they have killed origin.
Does anyone know if there is a fix.
have the exakt same issue, since season 3 started i cant log in to bf, gets past loading screen to connection to online services then BF selfdestructs and sends me back to desktop... * * just as the dx issues where gone this * happens

uninsstall oriogin and ea app with REVOUNINSTALLER.
Then use ccleaner to cleanup registry, reboot system and only install EA DESKTOP , try game again !
PS also empty those 2 folders manaully , delete everything. Some files/folders cant be deleted.

ive uninstalled again and ea and made sure no reference.
then reinstalled EA App and waited for it to redownload the whole 69 gig of BF2042 again.
Just tried again and you get as far as the
Battlefield Season 03
Escalation screen
Blue bar at the bottom like normal then just goes and the game doesnt load..
Ea app just pops back on the screen.
If anyone can help as i cant load it .
Is there not a log file to say where the issue is?
Community Manageri have and its the same. The fix on page didnt work hence why there are now 10 pages of people with the same issue.
Can someone from EA look at what was working in the Origin software and what has gone wrong since they brought their App out.
Its such a shame as BF i have had since the very 1st one and something like this starts to put the feeling that EA dont really care as no one seems to have fixed it.
