So, what I think is the issue here is that your Xbox account (with Game pass/EA Play) is connected to a possible old EA account, maybe with the "gold..." name. If you still have access to this EA account, you can easily change the EA account name by signing into https://profile.ea.com.
If you don't have access to this EA account, the best thing you can do is contacting our live support via https://help.ea.com/contact-us or https://bit.ly/EAChatSupport.
