Re: Can't delete "greyed out" friends on EA launcher

@MelgoreFUT When you go into the friends list on the EA app, and you click on the the friends that are blank or grey, you should be able to just click on them if they have a name. Ones with no names I am afraid kind of stay there. That is something that is still being looked at.

Hi, I am having this issue as well. Is there a solution to the "blank entry" friends yet?

Hey. @f0x0nab0x This issue has been happening fo a while. If the above steps do not work, you can log into Battlefield 3 through the web browser and try to remove them there. Currently, there isn't a direct way to remove them all. I still have quite a few on my list as well.

  • @EA_Shepard This worked for me. Logging into the Battlefield 3 battelog website and going to my profile and then friends and I found the person who was showing up blank in the new EA play app and was able to remove them there.

It's been two years since the OP posted, and this is still an issue. I've never played Battlefield so idk if the above duct tape fix will work for me :(

I was having this issue and I think any multiplayer online game works. I was able to clear them out with It Takes Two. It will seem like it doesn't remove these phantom friends, but when you restart EA Play, they will be gone.
