Summarize your bug I have looked at all previous topics and posts and tried everything and still nothing works. I just bought battlefield 4 from the steam sale today and when I try launch it, it brings up the EA app and says "You don't have access". I am on the right account for sure cause I got the sims 4 and FIFA 22 through steam too and they launch fine, but battlefield 4 doesn't even show up. I tried every troubleshooting trick like clearing cache, restarting etc. etc., I even tried the downloading apex legends and cancelling it, but even when I try download apex legends it doesn't even start and gives me an error saying the download couldn't start, what is going on?!?!
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Launch BF4
What happens when the bug occurs? You don't have access
What do you expect to see? The game working

@Flare_EUW Going through the same experience. This makes me not want to play any game associated with this god forsaken app again

@Soul3582 Oh I finally got it to work, I just deleted the EA App and let steam install it itself by pressing launch again, finally

@Soul3582 scratch that, i refunded the game, all that hassle just to be kicked every 2 mins by leaver buster for zero reason. Real shame

@Flare_EUW Unfortunately I just get an error saying the EA app isn't installed. Glad you can play the games you paid for though

I have the same exact problem, but with Battlefield 1.
I've tried deleting EA App and letting steam reinstall it. Did not work.
EA should just ditch this POS launcher.

Had a similar issue but with battlefield v, all my other steam games work and launch fine and appear in my library in the ea app. BFV doesnt. Did you get the error message: “this title may have been downloaded to your device by another user”? As it’s the one I’ve been getting. I also tried buying it off of the ea store in the app but even though the confirmation email went through and money was taken out of my bank account the game still would not appear in my library. How is this app so bad.

Bought 2042 on steam, didn't work. Bought it on EA app, didn't work. Requested a refund for both. Put in a live chat ticket and it's been stuck on a 24 minute wait for the last hour. Subscribed to EA play and get "There's a problem with your download" no matter what game I try to download. Running out of options for burning my cash today. Hmm.
In other words, I highly recommend anyone who is considering purchasing anything from EA for the Black Friday sale to absolutely refrain. If it weren't for my niece really wanting to play this game together over the weekend (she got the PS5 version a while ago), I might not have made such terrible choices.

Same issue with It Takes Two, just bought the game and I can't play it now. Tried clearing cache, verifying integrity of files, reinstalling EA App, nothing worked.

I am so happy that I seen this. I am gonna do what you did and just get rid of my game. I just picked up Mass Effect (Legendary and Andromeda) and it is definately doing what you said with Battlefield 4.
