EA wont start

I've been trying to start ea for a couple weeks now, I've got the pop up of saying it needs an update but when i click update it pops up with "up to date exiting" and closes the tab. i thought maybe i had corrupt mods so i deleted them all, same thing. So i thought it if i tried to go through steam it would work but nothing. I'm not sure what to do, I've even restarted my computer. 

That's what it shows before the second pop up saying its already up to date. Anyone else have this problem??
