Re: Don't see an option to locate game files EA Play Desktop

Origin just automatically updated itself and won't work anymore, insisting that EA Desktop be installed, removing Origin in the process.  Oh well, time to bite the bullet I guess...

I renamed my various games install directories from Origin to EA Games, and for me the previous solution involving deleting the cache etc. did not work as I don't see that option anywhere in Desktop.

What did work for me was to click on the down-arrow icon of the games that Desktop think are no longer installed.  There you can change the Install Location.  Change it to the new directory location, and click Next.  Desktop verifies the game's files, doesn't download anything (unless it finds a problem I guess), and recognises the game as being installed now.  Not very intuitive, but at least it works.
