Ea Shepard as you said i reported ea app error with error reporter and report id is def99280-6c3e-478d-a0d5-9018e0c08b72 and i'm also upload my ea app logs folder.

Ea Shepard im replying again because i cannot attach ea app logs folder without changing to rar file or zip file and I have learned this when i read it that other ea comunity manager was telling some other user in other post that how to upload ea app log file on ea answers hq so I changed ea app logs file in rar file.
My Ea App s version is 12.231.0.5488. Please check why this error error code ec 10501 is happening.

Ea Shepard I want to update about this issue Ea app Error code ec 10501 is still happening and I checked after my ea app recently updated but issue still happening.I forgot to mention in my previous post that my pc is an all in one computer with 8 gb ram so maybe this is ram issue but I cannot check it from my end so can ea app team check this please .I replied today because I wanted to know did ea app team found about why this error code is showing up in offline mode.My ea app version is 12.239.0.5496 and my windows version and buid version is now windows 10 home single language 64 bit version 22H2 OS Build 19045.3208.Please fix this bug.Thank you for fixing ea app error code ec 204 again.

- @EA_Shepard just FYI: the problem remains on my side as well (Windows 11, 128 Gbyte RAM, M.2 SSDs, NVidia 4900, newest EA App version... so from my point of view this is not a RAM, Performance or so issue...) As already mentioned: the EA App pings home during the offline mode. NB: sometimes I see messages such as: "cloud connection failed" or "we try to re-connect ..." -> this is a real mess as in offline mode I would not expect to see those information! Would you?
BTW: When I start a game in online mode (e.g. mass effect legendary edition) then it takes up to 5-6 minutes to get a message back: "cloud synchronisation problem... would you like to start using the localy stored game files?). So after this pops up I can play the game but I'm tired to wait 5 minutes every time I start a game so this is the underlying issue for the "offline mode solution". - sanjayaloria3 years agoRising Scout
Ea Shepard did you have any update about did ea app team find why this error code 10501 is happening and did ea app team fixed it because I am still facing error code 10501 and ea app version is 12.247.0.5504 and issue is still happening

@sanjayaloria I took a look. This has not yet been resolved. There was an update that they are going to push an update for it on the backend but there was not a date set. Any delays can happen so with these issues, they have to run those tests to make sure everything works.

Thank you Ea Shepard and ea app team for updating.I understand that some bug fixing patches take time .sorry about asking about did ea app team already fixed this issue.I will wait for bug fixing update for error code 10501.I asked about did ea app team already fixed it or not because my ea app is not recieving app updates and two days ago I used ea app s updater.exe to force update my ea app because it was stuck on old version.

Ea Shepard I am still having error code 10501 issue so I reported this error to ea app team via ea app error reporter again and ea error report id is f9878c67-6ec1-4de3-9b9b-360c51b47a94.my ea app version is 13.0.0.5513 and my windows os version is Windows 10 Home Single language 64 bit os version 22H2 os build 19045.3324.I am also uploading new dxdiag file with this post because windows 10 recently updated.Please fix this issue.

Since you wish to play a game offline anyway, what you can do is once game is loaded and ready to play in offline mode, open up Task Manager and completely shut down the EA app and EA Background Services program - Shutting down latter first will also shut down EA app. Problem removed. No more EA app and Services trying to phone home when supposed to be offline. Play the game without any more errors from app popping up and interfering.
Also when finished playing game and shut it down, the next time you need to load up the EA app it will not be asking for your login details. So that's annoyance number two also removed. It's all good.
Another method might be to open Settings on the EA app and shut down the Background Services so it does not auto run. It is switched on by default. Perhaps the EA app itself can then run unhindered by connection errors in offline mode. Although I haven't tried this second method as the first one above does the trick for me... so far. Task Manager is your friend.
Edit - Just now tried the second method and I don't trust it to hold water. Loaded app, went to Settings, turned off Background Services and Notifications - offline who needs 'em? - shut down app and opened Task Manager to manually shut it all down properly, thoroughly - as it will continue to run in background anyway by default even if you believe you've closed the app. They all do this, Steam, Epic, EA certainly not alone in continuing to run even if you think you've shut it down. Then loaded app fresh again. Checked Settings, Background Services remain closed, but opening Task Manager to spy they are actually running as normal. Who's pulling whose leg? Ergo, no trust in this second method holding out. "Nuke it from orbit" with Task Manager as in method one. "The only way to be sure."

@sanjayaloria If you have not, can you add that info Here so that we have that in the larger thread? There are going to be a lot of workarounds but there won't be a one-single step that will ultimately just fix the error itself.

Ea Shepard actully I donot found any permanent fix for ea app error code 10501.The only thing I do when I play games offline I put ea app in offline mode leave it in system tray because this app doesnot crash imeadeatly but it crashing after 4 to 5 hours after put ea app in offline mode so I play games for one or two hours and I save and close my then I press exit on ea app in system tray then I close ea app and and ea background service from task mangaer but it is not fix.I have recevied update to ea app option on 1 march 2023 and with run app as admin app was not having any problem both in online mode and offline mode but in same month ea app received few updates and one of update broke the ea app offline mode and since then I am recieving this error.I tried everything ea help advisors suggested me and none of them worked for offline mode.I even tried to install old origin app from the installer I had on my pc and tried bypass ea app method and I know this is not supported by ea so sorry and dont ban my ea account or forum account because I just did onece because ea app was not working in offline mode.after that I unistall origin app and older installer of origin app as well from my pc.Then I redownloded new ea app installer and reinstalled my ea app and ea games which were installed.Then I contacted ea help advisor about this error code they said tha my ea account is fine it is bug of ea app so I waiting of fix.Three thing I noticed about ea app s error code 10501 are first thing when I was playing a game ea crashed with with same error and closed the app but when I try to close my game it opened and it was working even after ea app was closed second thing is second ea app during playing same game and this time I didnot closed the ea app and it was showing the same error but game was working without any error and third thing it does not show update available for the ea app unlike origin.Origin used to nofify about app updates even if automatic app option is turned off and so I used turned off automatic app updates option in new app but it doesnot even notify about app updates so I am usning ea app updater to force update ea app and there are not patch notes for new ea app patches available can you please update the post when you recieved any updates from ea app team whether they fixed ea app error code 10501 issue.I am editing my post third because I forgot to mention what ea help advisors suggested me they have suggested to run ea app as admin,second thing they suggested is set ea app as exclusion in my antivirus,third thing they sugested check that maybe some other gaming apps maybe conflicting with ea app s offline mode or maybe some old files of origin or steam maybe causing issues,fourth thing they suggested clean boot of my windows 10 and then launching the ea app and fifth thing they suggested to change dns .I have done most of things except clean boot and change dns because my ea app is crashing in offline mode.

Ea Shepard I forgot to mention one more thing in my previous post that running ea app as admin and put ea app to exlusions in my kaspersky internet sequrity solved few other problems which I was having with its online mode since I updated to ea app from origin but none of these steps worked for error code 10501.I am using the same antivirus which I was using when origin was useable but no problem happened.I didnot changed my dns becuse my internet service provider told me to not to change any of internet settings and since issue is happening with ea app s offline mode.I think if this is bug just like two ea help advisors told only ea app team can permanently fix it.Please if you got any updates about ea app error code 10501 is fixed please update this post.

Ea Shepard I forgot to mention one more thing I have noticed about ea app error code 10501 which is if I check my system tray multiple times ea app crashes in offline mode with error code 10501 early than 4 to 5 hours.One ea help advisor told me that issues like ea app crashing with error code 10501 maybe fixed by a patch of ea app and he also advised me to post this issue on ea official forums so I followed his advise and posted this issue on ea answers hq forums.please fix this problem of ea app.

Ea Shepard I am still having issues with ea app which is still crashing in offline mode with error code 10501 and ea app version is 13.4.0.5517.I tried everything to fix this issue I tried clearing the cache,I am running ea app as admin,I have put ea app as exlusions in my antivirus.Did ea app team find why this error code is showing and did they have fixed it.I first thought it is coming because I have 8 gb ram did they checked that.maybe ram could be reason but I am not sure whether it is bug or it is low ram issue.please fix this issue because of this error I cannot play my games in offline mode properly.

@sanjayaloria Hey I am going to do some digging on this one. There won't be a permanent fix we have at the moment because each player who gets it has a different issue with a workaround.

Thank you Ea Shepard for help.Actully I am not a expert on computers and I donnot why this error code is showing and since I havenot tried ea app when it was in closed beta and open beta I donot how this new ea app works.I have downloaded ea app first time when it left open beta officialy but it was loading very slowly so unistalled it and start using origin app again because origin was still usable that time when I downloaded ea app.So I will wait for official fix for this error code.
This topic should be actually clear. As I already mentioned the EA Apps behavior in Offline Mode is not correct. I attached a screenshot. As you can see the EA App is “identifies” the Offline mode as “an error” telling (I translated this from German):“Unable to connect to the servers
We will continue to try to reconnect you. In the meantime, you can restart the app or play a game that doesn't have any int...”
This behavior is actually almost a violation of EU data protection rights.When a customer tells EA: do not collect my data (no permission!) then EA must not continue doing so.
When EA does not fix this, I might consider an official note to EU Parliament.

Ea Shepard still waiting for a response from ea.I have tried everything to fix ea app error code 10501 but none of them worked to fix this issue I am running ea app as admin, I have put ea app and its other services as exclusion in my kaspersky internet security antivirus,I checked windows firewall but it is not blocking it ,I have checked my operating system and ethernet connection but all are working fine and I have performed a clean reinstalltion of ea app but none of them this issue.I am not a computer expert so I cannot think of more workarounds, so I wanted to ask did you get any updates from ea app team regarding this issue.My ea app version is 13.27.0.5540 and error code 10501 is still showing up.Please fix this issue officialy because workarounds are not working for me.

@sanjayaloria I took a look and i am afraid there has not been. If you have other accounts linked i.e. Steam/Console/Epic/Facebook etc., can you please try any of those and let me know if they work or if you get the same error?
I am having the same problem with EC: 10501.
I paid alot to play my game and now I can not play offline.

Ea Shepard thanks for response and I want to tell you that my ea account is not connected to any pc gaming account and I dont have ea games on any of gaming apps like ea app I have only games in ea app but I have some other gaming apps similar to ea app are installed on my pc so I checked two of them one of them crashed in offline mode but it is different error than I am facing with ea app.as for my operating system and ethernet connection are working properly.I recieved upgrade to ea app option in origin app on 1st march 2023 but after shuttting down my pc and turning on pc same day few hours later and opening the ea app my installed games disappered so I asked ea help advisor so advisor advised me to reinstall ea app and run ea app as admin so I uninstalled ea app and next day I reinstalled origin and waited to upgrade to ea app option to reapear and it repeared and I updated to ea app and installer version was 12.123.0.5380 and I started running ea app as admin it worked fine both in online mode and offline mode and then few updates of ea app received in same month and last one maybe broke ea app s offline mode and ea app started to crash in offline mode and I know the version of ea app installer which origin downloaded on 2nd march 2023 because I copied the installer to my external hard disk and that installer still backed up in my external hard disk so I checked the installer version.Since ea app began to crash in offline mode I tried run ea app as admin ,clearing the cache ,I have put ea app as exclusions in my antivirus,I check my pc s windows firewall is not blocking the ea app but firewall is also not blocking it,I checked the other gaming apps may be conflicting with ea app but they are not I tried deleting older ea app and origin files even from local app data and programmdata and I also cleared origin ,origin games, ea app and ea games from my windows registry using windows registery editor and I deleted my old ea app installer both from my downloads and microssoft edge s download history and then I download ea app installer directly from ea app website but his doesnt even worked and I did the same process many times but none of them worked for error code 10501 and in other other window it says temparary lost connection and some even shows my ea account is blocked even today it showed ea account banned message.I checked ea help advisors when this ea account is banned message appered in past I asked ea help advisors but advisor confirmed many times that nether my ea account is hacked or banned and they suggested to post his issue on ea official forums so finaly posted this issue on ea answers hq forums.Please fix this this issue.Thanks for help.sorry I wasnot trying to post same reply three times but this is my first reply which I posted on tuesday but after submiting it disappered from my post and I tried again few minutes later I posted same reply and succesfully submited it but after few hours it also disappered from my post so I posted same reply yesterday but yesterday both replies appered again so I deleted other two posts so please donot ban my ea answers hq forum account.please fix ea app error code 10501.Thank you for help.
