Reinstalling the EA App as administrator solved my issue.
Go to C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts in Windows File Explorer.
Right-click the EA Desktop folder, select Properties.
There is a "-" symbol over the Read-Only checkbox, uncheck this, Apply and click Continue when prompted for Admin actions.
Be sure to log in after these actions are completed
It seemed to me like it was having trouble saving the settings and I think the Read-Only file mode settings were causing the problem. Don't know why EA installed it like this as default. Most likely something wrong with their install package configuration.
Really * tired of this crap, I don't want to log-in just to play a * game, worse the app doesn't auto-fill in any information whatsoever so you have to completely type out your email and you have to memorize your * password. So sick of this *.
Fantastic! It works now! Thank you mate!
BUT!! How hard would it be for EA to just post what you did?
Super simple thing, but no one, clearly, couldn't give less of a F at EA.
No reply or comment needed for my statement, just for EA staff to feel embarrassed.
