Re: EA App Game Library Is Empty? Look Here!

Guys, follow Niko's advice. It works!

I signed in to this website for the first time ever just to post this lol.

Go to your task manager -> CTRL + ALT + DELETE and then find your full list of apps (you might only have a couple displayed. Hit the arrows in the bottom left corner to see them all).

Close the EA App if it isn't already.

Find the "EA BACKGROUND SERVICE" app and end the living hell out of that task. This thing continues to run even without you being in the EA App ! (Thanks EA...)

Launch Battlefield 2042 like normal. Should work no problem !

  • Going into the task manager and ending the background services is what fixed this for me. The icon was nearly invisible in my window so I never noticed it running. Thank you for this, I haven't been able to access my library for over a year

  • Thank so much this was by far the easiest explanation to understand and it works. Thank you :D

  • I've been trying to play Sims 4 for 2 days with none of my apps loading. I deleted cache twice, restarted my computer 3 times, (tried to) uninstall EA (apparently there was an error? weird..)

THIS worked!  I tried this and when I signed in, I was IMMEDIATELY able to see everything again!!!! Thank you SO MUCH <3

    Hey everyone,

Happy to see that things are now looking up for you and you are able to play again. Let us know if that changes!

    Cheers!
