SOLUTION EVERYONE - Try going to your windows search and looking up "services" and click on it and find "EABackgroundService". Check to see if its startup type is set to disabled and change it to manual. Was my fix.
I tried this [and then some] and I'm still just getting the "preparing game" pop-up and the EA app flashing in the background and then nothing happening.
Got anything else?
This solution does not work. I have been having this issue for a week now with FC 25. I've tried every single thing in the thread above multiple times and the problem continues to persist. Can someone from EA please give us a proper solution?? We paid money for these games and cannot play them.
