Hi there, 

Reinstalling the EA app should not affect your Sims 4 saves. However, if you would like to make a backup of your game saves, you can do so by following the instructions in this article: Backing up and resetting The Sims 4

To completely remove all EA app files from your system, you can try using CCleaner to clear out issues and errors.
