Anyway, here's what I do every-time that I need to play something from their failed app.
This is under the assumption that your game/s are installed, and everything is up to date on your system. This might work for some but not all. I take no credit for this bandage, I spotted it somewhere else months ago so kudos to that person.
CLOSE/EXIT the EA APP once you see your library isn't loading.
OPEN TASK MANAGER on PC.
SEARCH the list of BACKGROUND PROCESSES and look for EA BACKGROUND SERVICE - End that task.
Now re-open your EA APP.
Your library should show itself loaded.
If not sorry, since I'm not on their payroll I refuse to troubleshoot for them.
I've reported the issue to them multiple times when I first noticed it, and haven't received a single response or acknowledgment that they received my bug report. 🍺
