Re: EA Desktop Update Error

Hi @RagingWillow,

In the EA app there is the possibility to clear the cache. Simply click on the 3 lines in the top left, go to Help > App Recovery and clear the cache.

Clearing the cache usually helps resolve issues such as stuck downloads. Give it a go and let me know what happens.

It will look like this, I'm confused why the game can be updated without consuming storage capacity.

    Second pict:

I've been waiting for it for almost an hour and it's still running like that without any changes.

    Pls help me ☹️

In that case I have some more tips for you @RagingWillow:

    • Open the EA app as an administrator.
    • Turn off any VPN/Firewall/Anti-virus/Proxy that you may have or set an exception for the EA App.

I'll also try to download and install JFO to see what happens for me.

  • @EA_Jason Hello, I just tried your suggestion, I tried to uninstall and reinstall EA Desktop, I also turned off all VPN/Proxy I was using and opened EA Desktop as administrator. Thank you very much, it helped my problem, no problem in the download queue anymore and no problem updating the game, thank you so much 😉
