Re: EA Launcher doesn´t install in choosen directory
You're joking right, this answer is a joke, basically we don't care it's gonna stay in there, so now you have the authority to install your buggy app wherever you want?
Well sadly for you there's actually a work around.

Today Origin finally forced me to upgrade to this app and I had the same annoying issue. After some research and fiddling around, I found a way to change the default install path via an command line argument. If anyone want to give it a try:
- Download the launcher from the EA page and navigate to the folder where you saved it. The filename should be EAappInstaller.exe.
- Open a PowerShell window (Alt+F+S+R or Shift + right-click in the folder and pick Open PowerShell window here from the menu)
- Use this command (change the quoted path to your liking):
.\EAappInstaller.exe /i DefaultInstallFolder="D:\Games\Electronic Arts"
In this case, the app gets installed in a subfolder called EA Desktop in D:\Games\Electronic Arts. Works fine here so far.
