Re: EA stuck on "Preparing Game" POP UP

Figured out the issue. Sad to say, but sadly not surprised, it was the EA launcher. Went a roundabout way to use origin and everything is running perfectly. Tried using EA to see if maybe it was fixed and it stopped working again, went back to Origin and it was perfect again. Not sure if anyone on here can put a word in to fix that launcher, but it is sad to see such a good launcher and part of my childhood just go this far downhill. If anyone needs help with the same issue I had I am more than open to provide steps to follow!

I'm glad this is working for you again. As you mentioned, it works with Origin but doesn't work with the EA app; perhaps there's something blocking the EA app. This article here explains which type of programs could cause this: Closing background applications

I tried everything, it could be something happening with EA for now, but I asked people I knew about it and they played games like Sims or Apex and they were also having similar issues. Regardless thank you for your time!
