I get this same. I have try to get this work all morning and it keeps giving me the same The app crashed unexpectedly  

Now it is 10:38 am here in Finland.   

I have delete this app, download the app again to my computer.  Cleaned my computer, checked all updates, ... Nothing is working what i try and i really wanted to play my Sims 4 today.   

I try to open the app it gives this same The app crashed unexpectedly  and i try to open Sims 4 game and it gives me the same The app crashed unexpectedly.  I put the screenshot here. 

The problem is same as everyone has wrote here.  It is not our computers, it is the app.

I've tryed to delete the chache, restart many times my PC and unistalled the app, and i try to utpade also Windows but NOT WORK! Please can you fix this? After hours nothing change. Sorry for my poor english

What troubleshooting steps have been taken: I first clicked restart ea. app afterwards i cleared the cache data, i then uninstalled the EA app restarted the pc and reinstalled it. I then did a complete pc reset and reinstalled it.

I have submitted a crash report every time, and two error reports. This has been happening CONTINUOUSLY since 1 pm my time and currently it is 4:02 AM.  I have done some REALLY in depth things trying to fix, or at least work around, this issue.  I was able to get a cache clear to go through eventually, I think.  I live in the United States.  My username is Greengirlmissy.  The text is the app crashed unexpectedly.  We ran into a problem, but a quick restart should fix it.  (checked) send crash report) See our privacy and cookie policy to learn more about how we use and protect your information.  

This usually occurs AFTER the log in screen (the little screen) and as the home (big) screen is loading.  You will see a buffering circle, then in a few seconds it crashes.  I have tried, oh everything.  The only step i couldn't complete was the DISM because for some reason my DISM is doing the same thing.  I have installed and reinstalled, clean booted, cleared cache, tried to go to offline mode (You can access the three line menu when it is circling), tried a number of things to fix the DISM, I got nothing left to think of.  I am not very gifted technologically, but MAN I tried.  GODSPEED!  LOL!  Autistic disabled person with a hyperfocus.

 Please I have spent a lot of money playing Sims 4 because I respected your work despite I'm being poor. I want to play my game and spend my free time on this long Public Holiday in VN. I haven't played Cottage Living yet. It's been several hours and I've tried every single thing that I can to make it work but it didn't. I have watched all of Marvel's phase one films AGAIN, but the EA App hasn't been fixed yet. Please please please fix it for us
