Edit:

1. Go to C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop\

2. There you will find a shortcut called "App Recovery". Double click it from within C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop\.

3. Then click "Clear Cache". Worked for me.

this is infuriating. ive never had problems accessing or launching my games on origin. then when i went to load my game the other day, i was forced to switch from origin to the ea app. not by choice. then ever since i have not been able to launch any game. its very disappointing, especially as when i reported it the first time, it was made out to be my error. but after simply checking here and social media i confirmed it was not my fault. ive reported it again, as im sure many other frustrated players have and this time they were much more understanding. please fix this.

@EA_CadeWell, maybe I would if the number wasn't 38 numbers and letters log and I could copy and paste it I would include it here 
This is getting old.

The error has been popping up for over 2 weeks. I've never had this problem until I've switched from Origin to the EA app. 

The EA app also doesn't uninstall and comes with an error, so I have no other way to launch my games.

The EA app keeps showing an error 500 whenever I try to launch any game. I have been trying to launch FIFA 23 which I purchased on Steam, but the EA App won't launch, and the game won't launch. Please advise on this, I have already reinstalled the game, EA App as well as steam client. I cleared the EA App cache. I tried reconnecting my steam account with my EA App also. Nothing helps and the error still persists.
