Community ManagerTry forcing the app to update and see if that helps. Go here:
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop
and launch the EAUpdater.exe.
My account was banned after a Russian hacked it. Was crazy obvious because they changed my Email address to one that ended with RU. Contacted EA, thinking it would be a simple fix.
Took about a year. Yep, not exaggerating. Contacted a handful of times only to be told they were looking into it. Wasn't able to play any games I paid for all this time.
FINALLY after I got ahold of them again about two weeks ago, just for fun, they got back to me and fixed it. YAY!!
But after playing for a little while I am stuck with this problem we have here. Cant play my games again.
I have had random success by reinstalling the app over and over and over daily.
Doesn't always work though.
Nothing as fun as jumping through hoops to simply play games I bought.
It updated to a newer version but I'm still just getting a blank window when I try to open the app.
