Same, so upset, I have been recently replaying it as it is my favorite game and it's just gone. Only difference is I bought the game a long time ago through Steam. Have tried opening it through steam which just opens the EA app, tells me I don't have the game or any other EA game I bought through Steam (i.e. It Takes Two). Opening a case now but I guess at least it seems to be happening to everyone? T_T
Can confirm; just happened to me, only a few hours in (most of which was spent with the screen sat in character creation 'cause I had to step away to do grocery shopping, such is life); I went to level up my character (Using a gamepad, in case that matters), locked in my choices, went to bind them and it went unresponsive. As far as I could tell the game didn't freeze, but it stopped responding to any and all commands, until I had to force it to shut down with the classic Alt-F4.
And I found the game removed for unlisted reasons when I tried to restart it.
