Re: I cant download FIFA 21

Hey @massiV-I,

It looks like the download is either stuck or not initializing.

This should be easily solvable by clicking on the 3 lines in the top right, going to Help, and clicking on App Recovery.

From there you can clear the cache and restart the app, which should solve it.

@massiV-I Is it just the download that's not working?

You can check by looking if the game was added to your Collection.
  • Yes its on my collection. When ı click on download it not downloads the game.I will send some pics.

Alright in that case there a few things that we can try:

    Try re-installing EA Desktop

    1. Close the EA Desktop app.
    2. Open the Control Panel (find it by searching Control Panel in the Start menu).
    3. Under Programs, click Uninstall a program.
    4. Click on EA Desktop and uninstall.
    5. Reinstall EA Desktop, then try installing your game again.

Try running EA Desktop as an administrator

    1. Close the EA Desktop app.
    2. Right-click the EA Desktop icon on your desktop (or in the EA Desktop directory if not on your desktop) and select Run As Administrator.

This runs the EA Desktop app as an administrator account and should let the game install.

Try lowering the User Access Control settings

    1. Close the EA Desktop app.
    2. Click the Start button on the Windows Taskbar.
    3. Search for UAC.
    4. In the User Access Control window, click and hold the slide bar. Slide it to the lowest setting available.
    5. Click OK at the bottom of the window.
    6. Open the EA Desktop app, then try installing your game again.

    Try moving file location

    1. Close EA Desktop completely.
    2. Go to C:\Program Files\EA Games and move the folder for the game to a different place.
    3. Go to C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop.
    4. Right-click on EADesktop.exe.
    5. Choose Run as Administrator.
    6. Start the download.
    7. Pause it after 30 seconds.
    8. In C:\Program Files\EA Games, copy the content of the old folder for the game into the new folder for the game.
    9. Resume the download.
