The suggestion in post #73 worked for me.

"Go to Applications > EA App > Click right and choose "Show Package contents" (or something similar, I translate from german) > Contents > MacOS, then run the EA Updater until it's done. Close it. Open EA Destager from the same folder, enter your Admin Password when EA Launch Helper is asking for and it's done. The Login window opened and I was able to log in and update my game."
