Re: My game is trying to download again?

Before installing the download, a little error check is done and if things don't match up, some (or all) of the download needs to be redone.

This seems like a connection quality issue so connect to your router directly with a cable if you can.

Is this a metadata issue? Because i don't ever experience this problem on steam. If i ever had a connection problem that would cause some files to be missing or corrupt, I would still obtain 90% of the files and would simply verify my game files to download and fix any issues. I don't understand how i lose my files from this or have them overwritten automatically.
