Re: Sims 4 error: Failed to launch game

my game wont even open after the EA app got the update. Ive unistalled and reinstalled both the app and game, cleared the cache. Ive tried every possible fix yet my game wont even load. I keep getting the same error of :

quite frankly I'm genuinely frustrated by this because THERE STILL IS NO FIX. I've had this issue for 4 days now. Its messed up my install folder and made a whole new folder for the SIMS4 taking from the origin file which its been in since 2014 and creating a whole new folder called EA games. Its deleted everything AND it wont work. 

Can someone help me please? I'm genuinely losing my mind.
