It appears the .dll is part of DirectX, so you might be able to try installing a DirectX runtime: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35

It seems like DirectX is also included in Windows, so you could try running Windows update to see if that fixes it. Or use the System File Checker to check for corrupted system files by running the command "sfc /scannow" in a command prompt.

  • Hi and thanks!  Yes, I already tried updating DirectX which seemed (for now) to solve the issue. I wish EA support would have recommended that in their 8 e-mails from 8 different people which would have not wasted my time ☹️
