EA app not staying open or letting me log in

So for the pat few weeks I've been trying to get back into the Sims again so I try to open the EA app that I've had installed for at least the last 6 months, but when I double click the icon it opens, loads for a few seconds, then closes while still running the 'Eabackgroundservice' on task manager. I've tried EVERYTHING to fix the EA app so I can just play, including :

Clearing cache (both app and pc)

Uninstalling using revo and re installing

Trying to play through Steam

Deleting every EA related file and folder

Talking to MULTIPLE agents through customer service

RESETTING MY ENTIRE LAPTOP!!

Using a different PC profile

Updating graphics cards and the app itself

I genuinely don't know what else to do, the app breaks almost every few months as if it's some sort of punishment for me not being active enough. I just want to play the game I spent all this money on!
