I have the same issue. My Epic games launcher tries to install the EA app and then realizes that it is already installed. It then asks me if I want to launch the app or repair the app. When I launch the app it opens the EA app and then the app does nothing it just sits there on the home screen waiting for an input when I try installing it again it just opens the app again
