Did not work for me, still having issues downloading my Sims 4 game, again
{'ve cleared my cache, restarted the app, its not even showing the sims 4 in my library its showing it greyed out ... any help?

I would like to start off saying I have been playing the Sims 4 for awhile now. Its a game I really enjoy and love to play every now and then. However, I have never been this upset with EA in my life. Why would you change something that works? The EA App does not work. I have tired everything that I can to somehow get the app to work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, I have cleared the cache and restarted the app, I have restarted my computer. I have done everything that I possible could have done to get this damn app to work. At times I deal with the "its taking a llittle longer to load things" error and when I can magically get the app to load it tells me I dont even have access to my game (I bought the Sims 4 through Steam and yes I have made sure my game is vaild and uninstalled and reinstalled that). I just want to play my games please fix this bad app.

Hey, clearing cache has not done anything for me. EA was working fine yesterday and now all of a sudden its 'taking a while to load'. Any other solutions that may have worked for other people?

I have this same issue every day, the way I fix it is to first open the EA App, and if I see the error open Task Manager and end every EA task. That usually fixes it for me.
Otherwise, just keep the EA app installer downloaded and uninstall and reinstall the EA app if the above doesn't work. Those are the only two fixes really
if you're still facing the issue try :
fully Close EA app from your tray then do this
Task manager > Processes > EA background services > End task
it did the trick for me

it did the trick for meThis fixed for me, too!! (2 days long problem)
Quick note, the icon is not the typical EA logo, so just look at the name of the program to find it on the task list.
