Re: Unable to Install The Sims 4 After Account Recovery

Yesterday I purchased a new PC because my old PC couldn't run Sims 4 anymore.  I downloaded the EA App onto my new PC only to receive an error saying the game was already running.  After researching probable causes for this error, I stopped OneDrive and Virus Protection only to continue receiving the error.  I contacted Sims 4 Help.  The agent(s) had me uninstall and reinstall the app multiple times in addition to clearing the cache to no avail.

Now I have the message 'Game Ownership Disabled or Deleted' when I try to download the games.  My last chat session with Sims 4 help was not helpful because the agent basically told me that the only way to resolve the issue was to uninstall, reboot, reinstall,  and clear the cache.  When I asked him what would happen if that didn't work (news flash, it didn't) he told me there was nothing he could do.

So - once again, I uninstalled.  Rebooted.  Reinstalled.  Cleared the cache.  And I still have the same message.

I've spend almost $2500 on this game at this point and am unable to play.

Any suggestions?

    Update:  every time I try to reopen the case.  The chat is refused and the case is automatically closed again.  What am I supposed to do at this point?  And if EA refuses to help me play the game I paid for, how do I get a refund?

    have you checked the refund policy as the Sims 4 is free to play and I am also affected by the same issue as well I have contacted EA as well about this to receive help and support I also requested to submit this as a severe bug that locks out people from the Sims 4 on PC the steam version is also affected too

    The Base Game is free but I've purchased all the expansion packs, stuff packs, game packs and most of the kits.  Now it seems that I'm blocked from re-opening my case but I'm still unable to play the game.  The lack of response here is telling.  I'm furious.  I'm not going to let this go until it is resolved.

    I am afraid you aren't the only one I am also affected too I made a case for this issue and am EA agent was helpful to me about it the agent noted me as the first one to report it
