When I try to run The Sims 4 game, I keep getting this message. "The app couldn't read the game's license file, so If the problem continues, try clearing your cache."
I have been having this problem since the last EA App update. I can run other games with the app. It seems only The Sims 4 is affected.
I have cleared the cache several times as suggested. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the EA App, as well as launching the EAUpdater.exe. I did the repair game option a couple of times. I have disabled my anti-virus and VPN. I have tried to find any solutions on the forum, but I have only seen other players posting about having the same problem, but not getting any answers or help.
I have been playing The Sims since The Sims 1 was released. I was even a beta tester of Sims Online. I have spent so much time and money on this game and I feel like I'm just being left out in the cold. EA just wants my money, but can't be bothered to help when they break the game.
Thanks, all. And could you also perhaps share an EA app Error Reporter ID here in the thread?

I already did. The LAST time that you asked for one. And many more before that.

Nothing helps, same issue here for months on windows 8, I think we should start to warn potential buyers, anyone in the community who considers even to add on with kits or expansions, NO more! Not before they solved this, what a scam! I am going to leave a comment under every influencer vid that promotes sims 4 to no longer support this trap! Buy a game that you can not play, what. Joke of a company🤮🤬😹
