Sims 4 DLC from Steam or Epic Greyed Out on EA app for Mac (Worked on Origin)

Hello does anyone know how to bypass this monstrosity on a new Mac App?? I just want to play my game - upon being forced to install the EA app some of my packs were missing. I tried downloading...

    If you bought or claimed these packs in Epic or Steam they are not available in EA App for Mac as there is no Mac version of the game available on either platform.

I'm having trouble accessing my dlc from steam. I was using a pc and upgraded to a Mac. But now I can't get to all of my stuff. In the EA app it shows that I have it in my library, but it says something to the effect that it's available in Windows PC. It leads me to believe that I can't play these packs on my Mac. 

Is there some content in ts4 that can't be played on a Mac, but you can play it on a Windows PC? I'm really confused.

Correct. Any Sims 4 DLC purchased for Windows through Steam is not available for macOS because there is no Mac version of the game available on Steam. You will have to re-purchase DLC if you want to play it on your Mac.
