I'm not sure if anyone else is having this problem, but lately, since the big update, my game won't launch. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it multiple times, and that's seemed to fix the problem for maybe a day or two, before it's failing to launch, again. I hate having to start my cc all over each time. And I just spent a long time building a house for my sim, and now I'm pretty sure that's all gone. I need to know how to get this fixed, so I can continue playing.
Please test your issue on a vanilla game
To verify on a vanilla game, move your mods folder to the desktop and delete the following files from your user folder.
- localthumbcache
- Any lastException Files
- Any LastCrash files.Test a backup of your save as you will loose all cc on the save and see if the same error occurs, then report back.
I tried this, a few times actually, and my game still won't launch, at all.
