inst-3-1920, can't install EA Ap
EA app won't install as of recently, gives error inst-3-1920 at the end of the installation. Tried the following: - Running installer as Admin - Removed files in %TEMP% - Updated DirectX and MS Visual C++ - Removed all old EA and Origin files in ProgramData, Program Files, and App Data. - Restarting PC after every steps above - Ran sfc - Check multiple videos and forums, no solution. Some claimed it was temp issue, but that was 2 YEARS AGO. Pls help.689Views5likes40Comments'Failed to Launch Game: An Error on Our End' for Multiple Games. Any Fixes?
I read all the forum messages about this issue from 3 years ago and tried all their solutions. I sent in a ticket to EA Games. I cleared the cache, restarted everything, went into the EA Games folder in my program files, tried running as administrator, tried everything else people mentioned. I forced a game update, an app update, and all produced no results. What is the point of having a game you can't open? I never had this problem before the app. Yes, my new laptop meets and exceeds all requirements. Running Windows 11. What else can I do? And if the error is on EA Games end, why can't they fix it? Hello, I tried to start EA play on my old laptop to play Battlefield 4 today. It worked well yesterday but today, it's impossible to start the EADesktop.exe and to start the game, even offline as it need the launcher. The entry point "GetDpiFromDpiAwarenessContext" seem to be the problem. I tried to repair, to uninstall/install, but it still does not work. I tried a Windows recovery but it did not succeed. What can be done ?Solved2KViews12likes57CommentsEA app on Mac "Something Went Wrong" pop-up Every 5 Minutes
I've updated my mac yesterday (macos tahoe 26.3) and my game but my EA app keeps on giving me this pop-up about every five minutes. Also my game will not launch, the reason being 'it's already running' even though it absolutely is not as I haven't even played it in two months. I reinstalled the game and repaired it, tried everything that could possibly fix the issue for over twenty hours but nothing worked. I use mods but before every update I always take out the mods folder and I haven't put it back in this whole time. My frustration has finally led me here in hopes that I could find a solution. Upon checking deeper I've noticed that the process 'com.ea.app.backgroundAgent' continuously respawns and the launcher believes a session is active even though I've manually tried rebooting over a dozen times. Activity Monitor shows that it's always running despite me killing it. I hope that this is relevant in any way but I'm unsure. I thought that the deletion would trigger it to detect the game is not running and would fix it perhaps. It's not my specialty. I do not think there's anything more I can do on my own to fix this.Lost Access to FC26 Standard Edition License
