Sims 4 (purchased) wont launch, suddenly asking for membership renewal.
I have had the base Sims 4 and several expansions, bundles, packs etc for many years. I last played in Oct 2024, and just recently logged in and updated the game to play. However, I keep getting the message " ! Renew your membership to continue. Looks like your membership expired. Renew your membership or purchase this game to continue." The thing is I HAVE purchased this game back on origin, played it even after moving to EA App, and never had the membership of any kind. It is also trying to tell me the Sims 4 was removed from my library in Dec 2019 along with 2 others games. This is also incorrect as I was playing in Oct 2024. I am also unable, and unwilling, to RE-purchase the game as it says play and no options to buy (as it was already bought). Please help with next steps. Can't launch Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
About two years ago, I purchased the game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on Steam. I wasn't able to play it, I don't recall exactly why, but when I clicked play on Steam, it would open the EA app, and then there was an error message. I contacted EA Help at the time, and they were able to fix it so I could play it. I was able to open the game directly from the EA app, and didn't need to use Steam. A few days ago, I tried to play the game for the first time in a year. When I opened the EA app I saw a message that said games had been removed from my account. The reason given was: Your Xbox Game Pass subscription has ended. Renew your subscription to continue playing. I had a subscription to Xbox Game Pass for the month of January this year. However, I bought Fallen Order outright - through Steam - and it is not linked to any subscription. I contacted EA Help twice in two days. They couldn't help. When I contacted today EA Help for the third time, I saw that the reason had been updated, and the date had changed to the first day I contacted EA Help. The reason the game was removed now reads: Your EA Play membership has ended. Buy the game or renew your membership to continue playing. I note also that the game shows as being installed in the EA app, but I can't remove it. There is an error icon in the bottom right corner of the game icon, which states: An incompatible version of this game is installed on your device. Uninstall the EA app version to launch. So far I have tried: Clearing the cache in the EA app Uninstalling the EA app Uninstalling and reinstalling the game in Steam I am growing increasingly frustrated with the lack of help from the ironically named EA Help. How can I play this game?Infinite "Preparing game..." rendering Titanfall 2 inoperable
About a week ago I bought Titanfall 2 on that big EA sale Steam had. I have yet to get it to boot. Since the purchase, I have tried a myriad of solutions including: * Validating integrity of game files * Restarting my computer * Deleting the Titanfall 2 folder in user/appdata/local (wasn't there in the first place though) * Disabling the in-game overlay * Uninstalling & reinstalling the game * Uninstalling & reinstalling EA * Updating Steam, and EA, and Windows, and all of my drivers * Booting in various safe and safe-adjacent modes * Moving Titanfall 2 to a different drive * Moving EA to a different drive * Clearing EA's cache * Clearing the Steam download cache * Repairing the EA client * Ritualistic animal sacrifice in EA's name * Talking to 3 different support representatives and, as you can imagine, none of them have worked. Booting from the .exe file and sidestepping Steam itself makes the EA app tell me that the game's not installed, and that I have to click on the drop-down menu and repair files. The drop-down menu only contains the option to manage add-ons. I'm not really expecting a solution at this point, I'm just making a post so I can at least say I have exhausted my options sans the dreaded Windows reinstall.184Views1like7CommentsGames not launching

Hi, I am in desperate need of help!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I tried installing the new update and it took forever and then when I went in to play the sims it was stuck on the loading screen loading into my household. It was stuck like that for hours with no sign of improving so I exited the game. I tried repairing the game but the repairing just gets stuck on 75% and then stops. I deleted the EA app and the game and tried a fresh install of both but still to no avail the game won't even open. The game is stuck verifying (I'm on Mac) and it has been for hours. I don't know what to do, the sims is literally my only pleasure in this life someone please help me. I have cleared the cache, restarted my computer, reinstalled MacOS Sequoia, and still no luck. I should mention I have the game stored on a hard drive but I'm unsure if that's why my issue persists. Someone please help me!17Views0likes0CommentsEA App constantly freezes and has to be force quit
Hello everyone, I've installed the EA app on my new MacBook, and every single time I close a game and leave the app open (because I plan on playing it later) it ends up freezing when I want to run a game later. It isn't solved on its own, I have to force quit it and restart the app every. single. time. This is exclusively a Mac problem -- I've never had this issue with my Windows PC. Is this a known bug? Has anyone else experienced this recently?EA wont recognize my account when Prompted through Xbox APP
Ive been trying for hours how to troubleshoot myself. And I found an issue that I think its the culprit. First I logged out of both Xbox app and EA logged back in but the same error persisted. Then I went to my Ea account and under the "Connected accounts" tab I noticed Xbox shows as unlinked. Tried linking it again, (even tho I know they are linked) and the message below appears. i go and check if any updates need installing, everything is up to date. Go back to my Xbox App and I can see EA is linked and the extension is on. But whenever I Try to download anything it pop this error. Now I already reset my password like 3 times. and nothing works. Tried looking in forums and seems no one else is having this issue right now, or if they are. I couldn't find it.20Views0likes1CommentEA APP launches then closes in one second
