EA can't verify my cards and I have no clue why?

Earlier tonight, I was attempting to buy stuff from EA. It wouldn't verify my cards, I tried 3 different cards. Why is this? These cards all have previously worked else where, one had actually been used to buy stuff from EA. Why is this? It has to be a glitch, right?

Thank you for responding but I have, I even looked at what other people in my situation are saying. EA keeps doing the 1 dollar purchase things to show my card is real but can't verify it. I don't think it's a problem on my bank's end but on EA's end instead. I don't mean for this to sound mean or anything, that did sound kind of mean, my bad.

If you notice a small charge on your account, it’s probably a pre-authorisation hold rather than an actual charge. This temporary hold is used to verify payment details when you order a game or update your payment method. The funds aren't deducted from your account, and the charge should disappear within a few business days. If you have made multiple repeated failed transactions, there is also a chance you've hit the security limits. Please wait for a couple of days before trying again. Add your payment method to your EA account first before making a new purchase.
