I can't download sims I'm on a brand new MacBook? I've tried everything. when I click play for free on Mac (ea app) it takes me to sims and it just says "not available" so I tried it for windows and its the same thing. no-one else seems to have this problem? I have a MacBook Air m3

Try clearing the cache for the EA app with these steps, if you're still not able to download The Sims please attach a screenshot to your post of what exactly you're seeing.

I cleared my cache, I made a new account, I've redownloaded the app, I've tried to download from the website. Nothing works.
Im on a macbook air, with the new mac os26 and im from NZ. I dont believe its region locked for nz and everywhere ive checked says i should be able to play. Please help me
