Just bought my wife a Mac mini but she had been playing Sims on PC via steam. I understand the license is only for windows, but in game on Mac it shows them as owned so we are unable to purchase them. The Sims 4 shows up as a Mac game but then lists the addons as available on windows only. What do we do?!
TouglasBoat If you're still dealing with this issue, you should be able to buy the packs from the EA website, for example here's Get to Work:

However, it's possible the entitlements from Steam will block you from using the new versions, in which case you'd need to unlink your Steam and EA accounts or have the Steam entitlements removed. So if you need to repurchase almost everything anyway, you might be better off creating a new account instead.
