[INFO REQUEST] "Service Limitations Apply" Error In EA app Or Online
Hi everyone, Over the past week, we’ve seen a small uptick in reports from players encountering a “Service Limitations Apply” error in the EA app on PC and Mac. This error appears during login, when launching a game via a third-party launcher (like Steam or Epic), or when trying to link those launchers to an EA account. To help us investigate and hopefully resolve this for those affected, please share the following information in your reply: Your region/country of residence Whether you are located in or connecting through a country listed under EA’s restricted regions (see: "EA games unavailable in some countries or regions") Are you using a VPN? If so, please disable it completely (make sure no VPN-related processes are running), reboot your device, and try again. Your EA app Error Reporter ID You can generate this from the EA app and post it here in the thread. See [INFO/GUIDE] Index - Troubleshooting the EA app. Once we have these details, we can investigate the issue further and try to identify its cause. Thanks for your help!Solved22KViews7likes202CommentsEA Account horribly messed up with no way to contact support
TL:DR, My EA account is not linking properly and somehow showing two different account in one which is causing authentication errors and steam library sync issues preventing me from playing BF6. I beg of mods and/or support to put me in contact with someone to help because the EA website will not let me create a support case because of the account issues. To begin, I have recently acquired Battlefield 6 and promptly installed to play with friends. This is where it all went horribly wrong. I started fighting anticheat constantly telling me there was something else not secure enough to meet EAs standards. After getting through that battle, I get to the games home screen where it says to press the space bar. Finally, I can play the game. Or so I thought. The game tries to connect to EA servers and fails with code "1:8600 1S:66003S:4688822970:0B". I began looking at my DNS records thinking I had a filter blocking access to their servers, but found that there was nothing being blocked. Still, as per their online documentation I tried Cloudflare and OpenDNS providers to be sure. Still got that same error. I then tried to trace packets on my local network with Wireshark and BAM! Anticheat said it knows better than I do and can't run the game with Wireshark running. So I have no way of tracing packets from the game. who knows, that may still be an issue. Instead without BF6 running, I ran tracert ea.com in Windows terminal(PowerShell) this showed me that I was indeed getting a response from CDN provider akamai. That said, it looked like it was a routing issue, and I am in a double NAT environment. After another couple hours of network troubleshooting I verify that the games UDP and TCP ports are not being blocked by my network, nor windows firewall. I even took my desktop out of the double NAT. And I was still getting this error. I am now weeks into troubleshooting and just launching the game to test connection has resulted in steam logging 81 minutes of playtime. That does not include troubleshooting while the game was not running for testing. I am realistically more than a couple hours into this. SO, I read something in a very obscure forum that there could be some sort of account linking issue. This is where, I think, I have identified the issue at. Logging into my EA account and navigating to the linked account page it says my steam account is not linked. Great, all I have to do is link and I can play the game. Of course not, that would be too easy. The page gave me an error saying that my steam account was already linked to my EA account. Strange. So I logged out of my EA account and tried Steam SSO to login to EA and it prompted my for my email address. Entering that gave me yet another error saying that it could not log me into me EA account. After back and forth with this thing, I used a different email address and that finally logged me into my EA account properly, it was showing all my account links again and all looked good. If you think I should've been able to play BF6 by this point you'd be wrong. Otherwise, I wouldn't be here begging for an EA rep to reach out to me. I was still getting that error. I downloaded the EA App for windows to look around and found that my Steam account is out of sync and it does not recognize that I own BF6. This is why I think I am running into an authentication issue due to a faulty link or whatever is wrong with my account(you'll see what I mean). I gave up, I went to create a support case. But some very strange things have happened to my EA account now. on the profile screen, I have the correct username and the account creation date shows 2018. Sounds about right. The case creation form shows a random string for the username and says the account was created in 2025. Obviously, it can't be both. Submitting the form doesn't throw a visible exception, but it does not seem to actually submit as it is being submitted to an account that is somehow me but not me and doesn't exist as I never created it. So, EA does not have email support that I can find. Nor could I find a phone line to call. If community members have any suggestions, I am all ears. For EA mods and/or support reps, I beg of you to put me in contact with someone to assist me in this issue as I clearly cannot do it myself and am unable to reach out to someone because of this account issue.30Views0likes0CommentsEA App Errors EC 10600 / 10608 / 10610
Hi everyone, I really need help because I have been unable to play EA Sports FC for 4 days now. Every time I launch the game, I get different EA App errors related to cloud sync or connection: - EC 10600 (couldn’t load cloud data) - EC 10608 (network sync issue) - EC 10610 (unable to connect to EA servers) - “Your latest sync was interrupted” - Cloud / local data conflicts Sometimes EA App doesn’t even open properly, sometimes the game won’t launch, and when it finally launches, the same errors appear again. I have tried absolutely everything: - Clearing EA App cache - Deleting AppData (Local, LocalLow, Roaming) - Reinstalling EA App, Steam, and the game - Resetting DNS, IP, Winsock - Running as administrator - Disabling antivirus/firewall Nothing worked. To check if the problem was my EA account, I even created a new EA account and linked it to Steam. But the same errors appear on the new account too, so this is not a problem with my account or my PC. Now I’m stuck because my Steam account is linked to the new EA account, and I can’t go back to my original one due to the 6-month unlink restriction. So I can’t play on my main account anymore either. At this point I’m completely lost and very disappointed because I just want to play the game again. If anyone has suggestions, solutions, or knows what I can try next, please help me. I really don’t know what else to do. Thank you.EA App Errors EC 10600 / 10608 / 10610 — Can’t Play (Tried Everything)

I have tried since 10 am to figure out how to work this. It is now 5pm. I download cottage living with my already downloaded island and cats and dogs. When I went into the game island cats/dogs said they were uninstalled and cottage living was ready. I got to EA and steam and both say they are installed. I have researched so many things trying to get all packs working at the same time. After seeing that my other packs deleted all of my work. I am so lost and would like feedback but also a helper to chat with. Thankssome features have been disabled because the ea app launched from another app
Hi, as u can see, I have the issue "some features have been disabled because the ea app launched from another application" suddenly, and I don't know what happened. I tried to install and uninstall the app, but it didn't work. Also my account is properly linked to steam.33Views0likes1CommentSteam add-ons shown as owned and unable to purchase them.
Just bought my wife a Mac mini but she had been playing Sims on PC via steam. I understand the license is only for windows, but in game on Mac it shows them as owned so we are unable to purchase them. The Sims 4 shows up as a Mac game but then lists the addons as available on windows only. What do we do?!Unknown Email linked to my EA account
So I was wanting to play some BF1 from steam, but my account kept saying it had a problem logging in and that I should try restarting the app and my password, I did so but nothing changed but when I went to the browser to try and link EA with Steam I saw this message appear It appears that my account is linked for steam to another Email that I have never seen nor used in my life I wanted to know if someone from customer support could help please I´ve been trying to find a way to contact support but I couldn´t find anything other than this.Solved328Views1like4CommentsExpansion Packs
I own/purchased a few of the expansion packs. For example, the high school years, discover university, get famous, and get to work. I was wondering why i have to buy them again in order for it to work. I paid for each of these packs and either want a refund or be able to play them properly. I also own/purchased the game packs spa day and dine out. I also own/purchased the stuff packs tiny living and my first pet.
