[INFO REQUEST] "Service Limitations Apply" Error In EA app Or Online
Hi everyone, Over the past week, we’ve seen a small uptick in reports from players encountering a “Service Limitations Apply” error in the EA app on PC and Mac. This error appears during login, when launching a game via a third-party launcher (like Steam or Epic), or when trying to link those launchers to an EA account. To help us investigate and hopefully resolve this for those affected, please share the following information in your reply: Your region/country of residence Whether you are located in or connecting through a country listed under EA’s restricted regions (see: "EA games unavailable in some countries or regions") Are you using a VPN? If so, please disable it completely (make sure no VPN-related processes are running), reboot your device, and try again. Your EA app Error Reporter ID You can generate this from the EA app and post it here in the thread. See [INFO/GUIDE] Index - Troubleshooting the EA app. Once we have these details, we can investigate the issue further and try to identify its cause. Thanks for your help!29KViews9likes218CommentsEA app switches my online status from invisible to in-game and then online
Product: EA app & Sims 4 Platform: PC Error Report ID: None Which client functionality are you experiencing this bug with? EA app: Online status When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) Ever since Steam began to force the EA app to launch before it would launch the Sims 4. Summarize your bug Every time I launch the Sims 4 from Steam, the EA app will change my online status from ''invisible'' to ''in-game''. This is despite my online status being set to invisible in Steam and despite my having signed into the EA app as invisible. When I close the game my status switches to "online". This does not happen when I sign into the EA app and change my status to invisible. When I change my status from online to invisible and then launch the game from Steam, my status remains "invisible" when I launch the Sims 4. The only issue with this is when I log into the EA app, change my status to invisible and then close the EA app, the next time I log in, my status appears as online again. How often does the bug occur? Every time. Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Launch EA app, sign in as invisible. Launch steam app, sign in as invisible. Launch the Sims 4 from the steam app. When the game is loaded go back and check the ea app and you will see your online status has changed from invisible to in-game. What happens when the bug occurs? Online status goes from invisible to in-game and, after the game is closed, the online status will change to online What do you expect to see? My online status to remain as invisible while I'm in-game and when I exit the game.24Views0likes0CommentsEA not counting Sims 4 hours.
so my EA app isn't counting my Sims 4 hours. it's been stuck on 9554hours and 41min for days now and I've played countless hours by now. Also every time i open the EA app it puts my hours down to 78hours but i can fix that by signing out and then in again, but still super frustrating to constantly have to do. I've already tried clearing cache. Another mention is i do own the game on Steam but i have all my packs on EA, and I've owned sims on EA before i owned it on steam.68Views0likes0CommentsEA App uninstaller won't launch from Windows 11 Settings
Hi EA Team, I am writing to report a frustrating bug regarding the uninstallation process of the EA App on Windows 11. When I go to my Windows 11 Settings > Apps > Installed apps, click the three dots next to the "EA app", and select "Uninstall", absolutely nothing happens. The uninstaller program fails to open or launch. (Please see the attached screenshot for reference. My current EA App version is 13.720.0.6233). Users should be able to easily uninstall the application through the standard Windows OS settings without having to search for workarounds or third-party uninstaller tools. I hope the development team can look into this compatibility issue with Windows 11 and release a fix to improve the user experience. Thank you!56Views0likes1CommentPacks not working even thought theyre installed
I have multiple add-ons. My game was frozen and i uninstalled the Horse Ranch Expansion Pack and City Living just to see if anything worked, but nothing seemed to happen. Then i exited the game and started it again, only to see that those two packs were uninstalled. I installed them again, clicked on "repair" countless times, manually uninstalled & installed them again, and cleared cache. This all happened while not using any mods, so it cant be that messing it up. I dont know what to do. When i click on "manage add-ons" nothing is out of the ordinary and its says the packs are installed.Solved71Views0likes4CommentsEA app installation error INST-3-1310 when launching FIFA 26 on Steam
Hello, I'm getting error INST-3-1310 ("Unexpected error") when trying to launch FIFA 26 on Steam. The EA app fails to install (both automatically from Steam and manually). What I've already tried (nothing worked): Deleted all EA / EA Desktop / Electronic Arts folders from %ProgramData%, %LocalAppData%, %AppData% Removed EA app leftovers from Registry Restarted PC after each step Disabled antivirus and Windows Defender (real-time protection) Manually downloaded EA app installer from official site: Ran as administrator Installed to C:\EA Games (not Program Files) Tried installing in Windows Safe Mode — same error Ran sfc /scannow — no system errors found Created a new Windows user with admin rights — error persists System info: Game: FIFA 26 on Steam OS: Windows 10 Please help me resolve this. I can provide logs if needed.Error installing EA launcher
Hi everyone, I have a problem installing the EA launcher. When I try to install it through Steam or manually, I get error inst-14-1603. Trying to fix this, I've reinstalled all Visual C++ packages, all .NET packages (I also enabled .NET), tried clearing the temp folder, searched the registry for the ProgramData string, unchecked the “create a desktop shortcut” option, ran the installer as administrator, and also repaired the system using the commands “sfc /scannow” and “DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth”. Please help - summer holidays just started and I can’t play Battlefield 1124Views0likes3CommentsEA App Errors EC 10600 / 10608 / 10610
Hi everyone, I really need help because I have been unable to play EA Sports FC for 4 days now. Every time I launch the game, I get different EA App errors related to cloud sync or connection: - EC 10600 (couldn’t load cloud data) - EC 10608 (network sync issue) - EC 10610 (unable to connect to EA servers) - “Your latest sync was interrupted” - Cloud / local data conflicts Sometimes EA App doesn’t even open properly, sometimes the game won’t launch, and when it finally launches, the same errors appear again. I have tried absolutely everything: - Clearing EA App cache - Deleting AppData (Local, LocalLow, Roaming) - Reinstalling EA App, Steam, and the game - Resetting DNS, IP, Winsock - Running as administrator - Disabling antivirus/firewall Nothing worked. To check if the problem was my EA account, I even created a new EA account and linked it to Steam. But the same errors appear on the new account too, so this is not a problem with my account or my PC. Now I’m stuck because my Steam account is linked to the new EA account, and I can’t go back to my original one due to the 6-month unlink restriction. So I can’t play on my main account anymore either. At this point I’m completely lost and very disappointed because I just want to play the game again. If anyone has suggestions, solutions, or knows what I can try next, please help me. I really don’t know what else to do. Thank you.
