FC 26 failed to launch after EA Javelin Anti Cheat pop up
Hi, I'm trying to launch FC 26 from Steam. The EA AntiCheat window appears and loads for about a minute, then closes. The game never starts, and I don't receive any error message. I've already tried everything I could find — every tutorial and forum suggestion online — but none of these steps have fixed the problem. I've attached my DxDiag report and Event Viewer log from when FC 26 crashed. I'd really appreciate it if someone could take a look and help me figure out what's causing this issue. Thank you🙏216Views0likes3CommentsEA App launcher crashing (EALauncher.exe / EALaunchHelper.exe, 0xc0000005)
Posting here since I originally reported this in the CFB 27 forum, but I’ve since confirmed it’s not game-specific — it’s the EA App launcher itself. Symptoms: Games hang on “Preparing Game: Completed” or freeze during shader compile Sometimes escalates to a full system freeze (Task Manager becomes unresponsive) Occurs identically on two separate titles — College Football 27 (Steam) and FIFA/FC 27 (EA App) Confirmed via Event Viewer (Windows Logs > Application): EALauncher.exe — Exception code 0xc0000005 (access violation), consistent fault offset across multiple crashes EALaunchHelper.exe — Same exception code, consistent fault offset Multiple crashes logged within seconds of each other Troubleshooting completed, none resolved the issue: Full EA App uninstall + manual cleanup of leftover folders (AppData, LocalAppData, Program Files) + clean reinstall Verified integrity of game files via Steam Repaired Visual C++ Redistributable (x64) Updated AMD GPU driver to latest Fully uninstalled third-party antivirus (Norton) to rule out interference Ruled out custom input drivers/hardware (issue persists with all non-essential USB devices disconnected) Confirmed GPU power settings at default Granted Full Control permissions on EA Desktop and game install folders Confirmed Windows fully updated System specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X GPU: AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB (RDNA 4) RAM: 31.2GB OS: Windows 11 Storage: NVMe SSD448Views3likes28CommentsEA app crashes upon startup, no matter what I do
Good evening. Whenever I open the EA app, it stays open for ten seconds at maximum before closing itself/crashing. I cannot input or click anything. Trying to open the game I want (TS4) through Steam doesn't help, either, as it just crashes and I get an error code from TS4 saying I need the EA app open to play. (TS4 isn't the problem, its the EA app itself.) I have already done multiple steps to troubleshoot based on previous forum logs, from (this list is out of order) uninstalling via Revo Uninstaller, restarting my computer, and reinstalling the EA app, clean booting my PC, clearing the EA app cache, running it as administrator, checking for updates on both the EA app and on my Windows OS, running DISM to check the integrity of my Windows files. Attached below is a video of the EA app crashing and a DxDiag txt document.Case closed without removing 365-day Steam unlinking cooldown after account hack
Hi EA Community Team, My EA account was recently hacked and linked to an unauthorized Steam account. I managed to secure my account and added 2FA with support (Case #250267787). However, the case was closed without resolving my main issue: I still cannot link my original Steam account due to the 365-day unlinking cooldown restriction. When I tried to reconnect via Live Chat, agents either disconnected or closed the chat session immediately without providing any help. Since this cooldown was caused by a security breach and not by me, I kindly request a Community Manager to escalate this case and manually clear the 365-day Steam unlinking restriction on my account. Thank you for your assistance.Solved65Views0likes5CommentsQuestions about EA vs. Steam and Expansions
So someone played The Sims 4 on Steam and had all their expansions on there on Windows. They bought a mac and now do not have access to their expansions because they purchased them on Steam. I was wondering if I bought the expansions they had for them on the EA app, would they launch with the base game if they opened it on Steam, or would they have to get the base game on EA too? If so, would they lose anything? I don't really know anything about The Sims because this would be as a gift so any help would be much appreciated, I can't seem to find a clear answer anywhereSpore purchased on Steam does not show up in my EA App library
Hello. I am facing a persistent technical issue with my game library synchronization. I purchased Spore on Steam, and my Steam and EA accounts are officially linked. However, the game completely refuses to show up in my EA App library. Due to current regional limitations in my location, I am unable to reach the standart Live Chat support to resolve this platform-side licensing discrepancy. This is why I am posting here. I have all the necessary proof of ownership, including Steam gift receipts and account licenses. Could a community manager please contact me via private message (DM) so I can provide my account details and screenshots to help resolve or escalate this issue? Thank you in advance for your help.Issues with getting the game to start
I've been playing the sims for a while, i have 117 hours in it, and am only having this issue now. Whenever I try to open it, the EA app appears and says that I need to reset my password. I have done this 3 times, along with uninstalling it and reinstalling it, clearing the EA cache, verifying the files on steam, and deleting the sims 4 files themselves, any fixes?SolvedEA App fails to play my Steam purchased games. All efforts have failed.
I'm getting so fed up with this BS with your app. I'm glad to see that the error message claim responsibility for what's happening, but fix the issue and get your sh*& together, EA. Jedi Survivor, Jedi Fallen Order, SW Battlefront 2, and NFS franchises. I've dumped a lot of money into your games over the past 3 decades, like many others. FIX YOUR SH*& and quick!!!
