The EA app isn't letting me download a game that I bought off of steam

So at the beginning of May, end of April, I bought Mass Effect Legendary Edition, and I've been trying to play the game but every time I try to play it using the steam app, it will redirect me to the EA app and tell me that I need to uninstall it from steam to be able to play it but now it won't me download off the EA app
