Unable to Launch EA App

I'm unable to launch the EA Desktop app on my W11 PC. Everything was working fine yesterday, was able to play games earlier in the day. Then yesterday evening I started experiencing an immediate crash upon launching the desktop application. Since, I've tried virtually all solutions I've seen to similar related issues in the past. List of things I've tried:

  1. Uninstall/re-install
  2. Uninstall using the REVO uninstaller.
  3. Creating new Windows account and installing there.
  4. Updating all drivers/windows
  5. Booting into safe mode
  6. Ensuring admin is granted for all .exe in the Programs folder.
  7. Using system restore to go to previous image of PC.
  8. Uninstalling Xbox app
  9. Installing EA App from Xbox App

I'm really at the end of all things I can think of logically trying. It will start to let me login, then freeze mid-typing email and then close.

Any suggestions? Happy to provide logs if needed.

SOMEONE CAN RELATE!!!! I went to customer service and the first step of their service was "reset your password and access your account" and...I'm like WHAT...ON EARTH does that have to do with the app not launching...anyways....Yeah i give up. I'm gonna wait til EA notices all these complaints and just bring back Origin or something

If that's the case, it's likely that something has changed on your system that's now preventing the app from functioning as expected. Have you checked whether any Windows updates were installed recently, or if any new software was added in the meantime? Has anything changed in your network setup?

It's important to rule out all potential causes, almost like retracing your steps to identify what might have changed since the app last worked correctly.

    Thanks for the reply!

Nothing has changed in my system, other than a windows update. However, I did revert to a previous system image to test this to see if it was the Windows update that caused the issue and unfortunately the same issue. After posting last night, I also tried the method that some others have suggested where I created an additional Local Admin account on my machine. I ran into the exact same issue when using an alternative windows admin account as well.

Additionally, I also tried to install the EA App on a secondary SSD drive to see if that resolved the issue and unfortunately it still presented the exact same problem.

Please let me know any other suggestions to try.

Instead of reverting to a previous Windows image, could you try uninstalling the Windows update that happened in the meantime?
