Troubles with Downloading and Repairing

Hi, I’m not sure if the issue is with my  hard drive (from Temu) or EA, but I’ve been trying to get Sims 4 back for about a month. When reinstalling it, the download got stuck at 2% for two weeks. I tried all the EA troubleshooting steps with no luck, then followed a Reddit post with a bunch of steps, that didn’t work either—maybe it’s my laptop or Gmail. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling EA, which helped, but Sims 4 still took about a week to download because it kept stopping. After that, I tried repairing the game to fix bugs. Repairing was slow (about a week) since it only progressed when my laptop was open. Then, after a whole week, the repair restarted from the beginning! I thought that was normal and let it run for another three days, but now it restarted again and isn’t moving at all. I restarted my laptop and noticed during repair it said “download Sims 4,” which confused me since it’s already downloaded. When I canceled repair and tried downloading Sims 4 twice, EA kicked me out both times. So, I’m not sure if this is my laptop or hard drive causing problems, but if it’s EA, they really need to fix this—I just want to play Sims instead of watching videos about it! If it’s my laptop, can someone help me figure this out? I’m really frustrated now.
