Unable to change account details

EA site doesn't let me change e-mail address and says "Your e-mail address could be invalid or you may have recently updated it". It's a 13yo account and I never changed the e-mail so it cannot be on cooldown or whatever and yes i typed the e-mail address correctly. It also doesn't let me unlink the steam account that's connected. It gives the descritption of unlinking then i check the box click the unlink button and nothing happens.

Other things like ID, name, region, etc. can be changed.
