Unable to play any EA game on PS5 due to linked EA account no longer existing

Hi folks

So this issue is affecting my dads PSN account, but since he doesn't have a working EA account I'm trying to sort this out. He wants to play battlefield 6 when it comes out but last time he tried to play an EA game (BF2042) he was unable to get past the log in screen as an error message appears informing him to relink his EA account. 

Trouble is the EA account in question hasn't been used in probably a decade and has been deleted as when trying to do the 'forgotten email' steps the result is some numbers followed by @eadeactivated etc.

Is there a contact he can email or get in touch with to remove this linking so he can add a new EA account?
