Why is EA app so slow when downloading??

I have fiber optic internet. 1G download and upload, yet this infuriating app goes at 45 mb/s... why? What is the problem? Steam has gone to 955mb/s with no issue. NO, myself, my computer, nor my internet are not the proble., YOU and YOUR stupid app are. Please, for the love of god, get onboard and please, fix your app.
