XBOX account link - all set ok but says no subscription

 I've been having this issue for months - froze and restarted xBox pass in hopes it'll move it. Linked accounts seem to tie up, but something is clearly broken. I've found no resolution. The messages...

Hi there. Thanks for reaching out. What game are you trying to play? Also, what exactly is the error message you're getting?

It might be good to try clearing the local saved games. Please follow these steps:

  1. Hit the Guide button on your controller
  2. Go to Profile & system > Settings > System > Storage
  3. Select Clear local saved games


It also couldn't hurt to do a hard restart. Just hold down the power button on your console until it turns off and then turn it on again.
