Why am I getting duplicate notifications when someone is playing game?

• Does this issue occur every time your favorite friend launches a game, or only in specific instances?
• Do the duplicate notifications appear only when the player starts a new match, or does it also happen when they reboot or restart the game?
• Are you noticing this with only one friend, or does it happen with multiple friends?

Normally, you should receive a notification when a favorite friend comes online - launches a game for the first time in a session. If a player repeatedly starts and closes the game (such as rebooting multiple times), it’s possible to receive multiple notifications, but consistent duplication every time should not be happening.
