There's been a few times now in the sims 4 forums where I cannot enter a discussion. I try clicking a threads in the General Discussion and Creative Corner of the forums and I am sent to the main page of the EA Forums with this message

I wanted to check in with you. 🙂The team worked on this and released a fix the other day. I haven't come across the "Access Denied" error since, have you?

Same here. Most of my activity has been in the "What happened in your game today, by ONE picture?" thread, and this morning, I had 2 new notifications (new posts in the thread, and a response to one of my previous posts). But when I clicked the links, I got the same notice you got.
Of course, now it seems to be working again. Grr...
I’m not sure what’s going on, but for the past two days I’ve been having trouble accessing parts of the forums. When I click on my notifications and the page redirects, it fails to load and instead shows an “access denied” or “page doesn’t exist” error. As far as I know, my account is in good standing, and I haven’t received any violation notices. The issue is inconsistent; sometimes I can access the pages, and other times I get the error. I did clear my cache and cookies a few days ago, and it seems the problem started after that, though I’m not sure why.

I keep doing everythng said, and am constantly getting sent back. It's back to back despite opening a new window, refreshing, logging out... it's incredibly frustrating having to go through all this for the same result to happen.
Thanks for giving it a go! I know it's far from ideal, and that refreshing doesn't fix the error 100% of the time. Right now, refreshing the page, clearing the browser cache, and logging in again are the only workarounds I know of that sometimes help the pages load when that error crops up.

I’m getting this issue too. I can’t see my notifications, I get the dot on the bell showing there’s something new but it’s just blank when I click. I went to my profile to see if I could get to posts from there when I discovered this access denied thing. So basically this whole site is useless rn 🫠

I've been doing that and still get the same message and again brought back to the main page. Others have mentioned it happening as well in the sims forums.

This has popped up for me a few times in the past, and on other boards too. I've found that navigating back to the board, refreshing the page, or opening the thread in a new tab does the trick for me.
