EA_Nils was responding to threads in this section as recently as 24 hours ago, but I would guess he has the weekend off. EA people are definitely listening but are also trying to put out a lot of fires at once.
As for the pile of unrelated threads in this forum, yes, it's a problem, and hopefully someone from EA will clean them out soon.
