Forum Navigation - browsing posts issue

When browsing the list of posts and then reading one, afterwards either using back button or forum breadcrumbs, I’m always returned to the top of the list rather than where I was in the list

that means I have to scroll back down every time to where i was - very tedious

Doesn’t or can’t the forum track where I punched into a post? or is there some setting I’m missing
