But this feels kinda like a hassle? I have to press back several times to get back to the previous post, and things don't seem as easy to find as before. Maybe it's just me who needs to adjust to the new forum, but it feel a little disappointing

And no matter what I try I can't post. I can't make a post about the issue either.
I've been there a couple of times but just feel like the boomer I am, as I confused try to navigate the slow loading mess.
I've been giving the new forum a chance, but I have to say - I really dislike it. It's not the change that I dislike - I don't mind change - but the forum is just plain bad. It's really badly designed and definitely not suited for the community.
I hope we can, as a community, perhaps persuade the people over at Maxis to give us a different forum, similar to the old one (or just the old one?). I don't know if they have any say - it seems EA wanted all of the community to be in a central place (or something like that)... but we can hope.
The new forums that were hyped up for months over on the now prematurely made readonly sims forum, are still in a sorry state. And at this point the login system doesn't even work properly it seems. It just gets stuck trying to hand the login authentication back from the EA login page over to the forum and sits in a endless "page not found" loop. And by nature of how it works, we can't post out issues if the login doesn't work.
Why even bother launching a new platform and bruteforce closing one of the larger old ones 4 days later if you can't even get a login system to work.
Sometimes you get authentication errors, mostly you get nothing but a white screen. And when it does work it still looks like Reddit but worse
All I say is that nothing is better to me than old Vanilla forums were. But thats just me being emotional, I think ๐
I am usually fast to adapt , however, the new forum is giving me some grey hair. I hope for better ๐

I'm not getting along with the new forum. I'm having an Internal Server Error and cannot got onto it on 3 PC's, 3 different browsers in 3 different locations and I'm getting no help .
Apart for the fact I can get access on my phone, it's useless the way it's formatted.
I'm thinking of making this place my new "go to home".
How are other people feeling?

That forum is something of an open betaโit's possible many of the features we all miss can be added sooner or later. More votes for a given change means a higher likelihood someone will listen.
As a side note, that Feedback forum is currently full of unrelated posts because the site doesn't have anywhere to put them. Hopefully some EA CM will clean that section out, but in the meantime, ignore those other posts and just share your thoughts.
