Questions About Too Many Posts
I keep getting the messages "Content Not Published" and "You’ve exceeded the maximum number of posts you can publish. Try again later." when I try to publish a post.
- What exactly is the definition of a maximum number of posts?
- Are there so many posts in an hour, a day, a week?
- How long must I wait from my first failed attempt to try again?
- Can I reach a member level that allows me to make more posts than I have currently exceeded?
- Can I even post in the Technical Discussion if I have been shackled in the other areas of The Sims 3 forum? Yes.
- When can I expect to be able to post again?
I would appreciate some clarification on the rules for this restriction.

To my knowledge, that is only 8 posts within three hours. I don't find that to be excessive.
However, I did do many minor edits of existing posts under both Marden and Forsythe posts. Is this a factor?
Thanks!

p.s. None of the tags were an accurate selection for the issue I have. You should add a tag for Forum Issues.
Hi, sorry for the slow response. There are limits in place, but we currently keep them obfuscated, as countering spam is part of the reason for the limits.
We are aware of issues of real users hitting blocks, and we do have a backend update soon which should address cases of legitimate forum-goers getting blocked when they shouldn't.
It looks like you've been able to post during the week, did you encounter any more issues?
