It should work if you paste the link and press the spacebar, like it has with the one below.

If it doesn't do it automatically, you could try the linking option. The link below I've done that with.

It seems like it's more of a temporary solution that no one knows about rather than a good process :(
So it turns out that we can’t watch videos at all without going to YouTube?
For example, through the built-in playerOh you can do that too (I forgot as I don't use it much). Just select the camera icon beneath the text box, and then the "from video url" option. After that, just paste in the link. If memory serves, it won't work for all sites, but it does support YouTube for definite.

It's possible this doesn't work with videos that are private but accessible via a link.
